I was sorting the pictures in my laptop earlier and found this among all the chaos. I forgot i had it screencapped. If only you knew how elated I was when I realised Joe replied to my tweet. I faved it, I retweeted it, I screencapped it and I wouldn't stop tweeting in ALL CAPS. Probably drove tons of people crazy. I'm sorry.

I'm sorry but I really, really love Joe Brooks. His voice is golden and his songs will NOT fail to put a smile on your face. I'm serious. Go listen to Superman. Or Lead the Crowd. Or even Hello Mr Sun.

So I'm asking you guys to help me out. If you've got extra cash to spare, please help my Superman out. Here's what he has to say about it:

This is your invitation to join me on the next step of my Musical Journey! Since
becoming an independent artist (again), I’ve decided to get creative and team up with PledgeMusic to help bring you and me closer… like bff’s… kinda. We’re going to create a 6 track EP TOGETHER :) By becoming a “ Pledger”, you are pre-ordering the new EP and coming along for the ride, gaining an exclusive behind-the -scenes view of the making of the music…in 2 months time, the EP will be released and at your doorstep all thanks to your pledge! In addition, there are some other personal items I am offering to help fund this effort. I tried to make them fun and it’s all in the name of helping me make the best music I can for you.

THE MUSIC:

The 6-track EP will include two never before released fan favorites, along with a brand new unheard, unreleased summertime single and more! Pledgers will be THE FIRST to find out all information regarding the album (e.g the track listing, artwork, title etc.) I will be keeping everyone who pledges updated and giving “sneak peeks” as I go.

ALSO…Those who PLEDGE BY JUNE 30 will get my cover of the Leonard Cohen classic, “Hallelujah” absolutely FREE!

Your Pledge will go directly towards the recording costs of the EP… including studio time, drummers, pianists, horn players and tea bags for the highly-caffeinated night shifts.

Cape Competition:
For every $10 pledged you will receive a competition entry to win the actual Cape,
Glasses or Shoes I wore in the official Superman video. Winners will be announced at the end of the campaign.

Charity:
10% of all proceeds made over the targeted amount will be donated to BringMeHope.org, bettering the conditions for child orphans in China.
